In the wake of the recent controversy surrounding a testimony shared at Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Pastor Paul Enenche has broken his silence on the matter, emphasizing that there was no intention to disgrace or hurt the testifier, Vera Ayim.
Vera Ayim had taken to the altar of Dunamis Church to share her testimony of becoming the “only graduate in her family,” highlighting her achievement of obtaining a “BSc in Law” from NOUN.
However, Pastor Enenche’s inquiry into the type of degree she graduated with led to an accusation of dishonesty, sparking uproar on social media and calls for an apology.
Addressing the issue through his Personal Assistant, Sylvester Edoh, Pastor Enenche clarified that his intervention was prompted by concerns regarding academic standards and truthfulness, rather than an intent to humiliate Vera.
The statement acknowledged that the situation was a result of a spur-of-the-moment reaction, emphasizing the church’s commitment to excellence and intolerance of mediocrity.
Despite the misunderstanding, Pastor Enenche expressed regret for any inconvenience caused to Vera and assured her of both physical and spiritual support.
